Rosie has been playing music since the age of 4. She started with classical violin and then moved into traditional music and has been combining the two ever since.
She has experience playing several instruments and has had the privilege of playing in many prestigious venues including the Berlin Konzerthaus, Ulster Hall, National Concert Hall and several others. She has been dancing since the age of 3 and has attained several All Ireland and World Irish Dancing Medals. She has been the county champion on fiddle for 15 consecutive years and Ulster Champion on many occasions.
Her influences are wide ranging including Cathal Hayden, Frankie Gavin, Michael Rooney, Beoga and many others.
She has had the joy of playing alongside several amazing musicians including Four Men and a Dog, Si Van, The Ollam, Beoga, KAN, Damien O’Kane, Mary Dillon and the Mairtin O’Connor Trio and hopes to continue to do so in the future.
